Dr. Emily Pineda
Founded South Texas Arthritis Care Center located in San Antonio, Texas, where she practices Rheumatology. She has special interest and expertise in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and is also a faculty member of MSKUS, a instructional group of Medical Professionals that specializing in the basic/advanced instructional education & advancement of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Guidance.
Dr. Pineda is the first in South Texas to provide cutting edge therapies such as Ultrasound-guided Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy for various joint and soft tissue ailments, Ultrasound-guided Stem Cell injection Therapy and Fat Graft Injection for Osteoarthritis of the nee. Dr. Pineda has been recognized by her peers as a Top Doctor in San Antonio since opening her solos practice in 2006.

Michelle & Julia are Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner who specialize in rheumatologic and inflammatory

Dr. Emily Pineda
Dr. Emily Pineda, graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency in Sound Shore Medical Center
New Rochelle, New York. She completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at the
prestigious Brown University Program, Providence, Rhode Island. She started
private practice in Michigan in 1998. In 2005, she and her family moved
from Michigan to San Antonio, which she now calls home. Dr. Pineda is a
Board certified Rheumatologist. She is a member of the American College of
Rheumatology, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, American College
of Physicians, Texas Medical Association, Bexar County Medical Society
Mitzi Wright, AGPCNP-C
Mitzi Wright, AGPCNP-C graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. There she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree and specialized in adult gerontology primary care. She received clinical training in several specialties to include internal medicine, urgent care, long-term care, women’s heath and rheumatology. Mrs. Wright is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She is a member of several professional organizations to include Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals. Mrs. Wright is happily married and a proud mother of two. During the summer of 2016 she relocated with her family from Puyallup, Washington to San Antonio, Texas and joined the South Texas Arthritis Care Center family. When not in clinic, Mrs. Wright enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Jing Li, Nurse Practitioner, ANCC
Jing Li graduated from De Anza College in Cupertino, California and became a Registered Nurse. She worked at Riverview Medical Center as a cardiac nurse. She returned to graduate school at New York University College of nursing. She is board certified by American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC) and holds a certification from Texas Board of nursing as an Adult Primary Care Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.
Jing is a member of the American college of rheumatology, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Rheumatology Nurses Society. Her goal is to optimize patients’ health with a holistic approach through healthy diet, exercise and medication. Jing moved to San Antonio in 2013. She and her husband are happily raising their son in San Antonio
